These terms explain how this browser-based ICO converter may be used and how information is handled.

1. Operator and acceptance

The operator is the person or company identified in the published site contact details. By accessing this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Users must be legally able to accept these terms in their country and supervise any use by minors.

2. Service and permitted use

The service converts supported images into ICO files in the browser. Use it only with files you own or are authorised to process. You may not disrupt the site, bypass limits, scan for weaknesses, introduce malicious code, automate abusive traffic, impersonate others or use output for unlawful or infringing purposes.

3. Privacy and data

Selected images are processed locally and are not uploaded by the converter. The hosting server may nevertheless receive IP address, time, requested URL, browser details and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The operator must publish its identity, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, transfers and privacy contact before launch.

4. Cookies and storage

The public converter does not require analytics or advertising cookies by default. WordPress may use strictly necessary cookies for administration, login, security or preferences. Any optional analytics, advertising or third-party technology must remain disabled until valid consent is obtained where required and this notice is updated with names, purposes and lifetimes.

5. Rights and contact

Where data protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Contact the operator through the published privacy contact. You may also complain to your competent supervisory authority. Some rights depend on the legal basis and circumstances.

6. Intellectual property and availability

The site design, code, branding and written content are protected unless stated otherwise. No ownership of your source image is claimed. The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose. Check downloaded files before relying on them and keep your own backup of every original.

7. Liability, changes and law

To the extent permitted by mandatory law, the operator is not liable for indirect loss, lost data or misuse of generated files. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or consumer rights that cannot be waived. Terms may be updated for legal, security or service changes; the published version and effective date apply.

8. Accounts, fees and refunds

The public converter requires no user account and the operator charges no conversion fee. Consequently, the converter has no subscription, renewal or refund process. If paid products, donations or account features are introduced later, their price, payment provider, cancellation and refund terms must be disclosed before purchase and this notice must be updated.

9. Security and vulnerability reporting

Do not test, probe or exploit this website without prior written permission. If you believe you found a security problem, stop testing, preserve relevant details and report it privately to the published contact. Do not access other people’s data, disrupt availability or disclose an unresolved vulnerability publicly. Good-faith reports will be reviewed as resources permit.

10. Suspension and termination

The operator may restrict or block access reasonably believed to be automated, abusive, unlawful, harmful to security or contrary to these terms. Access may also be suspended for maintenance, emergencies or legal compliance. Because the public converter creates no user account, there is normally no account data to export or terminate.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the operator, without removing mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence. First contact the operator and provide enough detail to investigate a complaint. You retain any right to use a competent court, regulator or legally available alternative dispute-resolution process.

12. Entire agreement, severability and contact

These terms, the privacy and cookie information, and any mandatory site notices form the agreement for this service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Questions, rights requests, infringement notices and security reports should be sent to the operator’s published contact.
